When should I call to follow up my job applications?

How many days should I give it before I give a follow up call about my job applications? I'm really trying to get a job, so I know I need to be persistent, but don't want to be annoying.

I'd give it two days and then call every day. Make sure you tell them you were checking because you really want the job. Doesn't hurt to be a little annoying. It makes sure they don't forget you. I always hired people that were persistent as it told me they really wanted the job! GOOD LUCK!

You should give them at least 5-7 days. But I wouldn't say no to a little more than a week. Just make sure they know you're interested in the job still.

Better than calling... Go in person and pleasantly say , " I applied with you and haven't been home to get my messages ( you're not;) Can you tell me if a decisions been made for the position yet? "

Immediately after your interview, the same day, you should send a follow-up letter or email, especially if the job requires writing skills and includes correspondence. In the letter, thank the interviewer for meeting with you to discuss the [job title] position. Remind the interviewer why you are qualified for the position. State that you are very interested in the job, and when you will call to follow up. During the interview, you should ask when a follow-up call is appropriate. Explain that you intend to be persistent but not annoying. Then do as the interviewer suggests.

Best.
Also a good thing to do is to read up about the company before the interview. Knowing about the company before hand gives you more incite and questions to ask them. Also stay away from yes and no answers, you are not the first person they interviewed. Make yourself memorable.

You should give it about 3 days and then call every day.
