How long can I use my laptop continuously (in hours)?

Generally most laptops will be able to run continuously for 4 hours even when not connected to a power source. However, this will also depend on what you are using the laptop for. For example, downloading programmes over the internet using your laptop will cause the battery life of your laptop to run out fast.

I am on an IT service business, and sometime I use my laptop for 16 hours a day. But I have to keep it charging most of the time.
