Nothing for about fifteen minutes then try a sip of water. Wait about fifteen minutes and take another sip...the longer you go without throwing up then increase fluids gradually. If after a couple of hours you have not thrown up try something bland like saltine crackers...keep your intake bland for a day until you feel better then start back slowly with a regular diet.
First give your tummy a break from anything. Then slowly, start what's called a BRAT diet. It stands for bananas rice applesauce and toast. It's relatively bland. If you tolerate that then you can slowly introduce yourself back to normal foods. Feel better soon!
