It turns out that most of the people in the audience are just as nervous as you because most of them can empathize with how it feels to be in front of other people performing. You have to remember that the audience is full of people just like you and have fun. That's it. Then, the nervousness goes away when you accept the fact that you will make mistakes, but then, you'll also rectify it with a cute, charming smile...... so there you have it.
To overcome stage fright you should begin by relaxing your body and focus on something else apart from being nervous. In addition, you can try meditating before you go on stage and try exercising or laughing to release some tension. Furthermore, you should practice and also go early on the day of your presentation.
Try standing in front of your family members when you do your presentation, they can be the audience and this will help you to get over standing in front of people and make you feel more comfortable there.
Lets see, for me, I before the stage, I meditate and take slow breathes, once I come face-to-face with the audience, I just imagine them sitting there with screwed up Gmod faces, or something that makes them look funny. Hope this helps.
Well I had stage fright but a year or so ago I was in a play. I was actually the lead. I loved acting but had bad stage fright. if your anything like me imagining people in there underpants doesn't help. what I did is I just look at an object in the room and didn't take my eyes off it. for example: if your on stage stare at the exit sign NOT PEOPLE (except if your performing for a judge). I do a lot of stage activities especially elocutions. The thing is, if your friends are seated below and you look at them, they'll make funny faces. So just look straight at the wall and talk as if you are alone. Once comfortable, make eye contact with the person of the highest rank present.

First: The best way to get over stage fright is by getting on stage as a group (a group dance) so that you could atleast watch others if you forget what you learned. After the first one the second attempt would be easier. Second: You can also try doing it in front of a known audience(your family) to see what could go wrong. Third: if you are above legal drinking age have a peg or two (not recommended or should be your last decision)
The best way is be prepared, know that you will make a mistake and come to peace with it, and eat chocolate. No I'm serious, Chocolate can make you calmer. And if you are speaking, keep in mind that you need to enunciate clearly and talk slow enough so people can hear. Beyond that, the more you are in front of an audience, the better you get at it.

I had one of my friends sit on the corner of the stage and he/she would know my dance or what ever I was doing then if I got nervous or I messed up he/she would join in and do my performance with me :) It works you should try it :)
Realize that you're actually really good at what you do (sing, dance, act, etc.) or you wouldn't be on stage in the first place. If you acknowledge that you're really good, then it doesn't matter what other people think, it only matters what you think about your performance.
Well, i once had stage fright too and would start to fidget and shake every time i got on a stage to preform whether it be in a group or by myself. Once you something over and done with, you realize it's not as scary anymore,
To overcome stage fright sounds really scary i'm sure but, eventually you are going to have to. So lets say you need to overcome it because you want to be a singer. Now I don't know if that's true but, I am just using it as an example. First, sing in front of a couple people you really trust no matter who it is. It could be family ,friends, etc. Then you slowly go from there. By maybe joining choir or doing groups with you and your friends and asking them to bring people. You could also practice by singing in front of a camera acting like you are going to put it on youtube but, you never have to. Another way is by actually putting it on youtube.
