Why after losing all your hair because of chemotherapy does it grow back with much looser curls?
I had a family friend who battled cancer for years. Her treatments caused her hair to all come out multiple times. Sometimes it came in really straight, sometimes curly. She never knew what she'd get next.
Recovering from chemo takes a few months. I wasn't fully recovered for about a year. The hair follicles are just getting used to making hair again and they will figure it out in time.
How tight were your curls before? I've been told that when you shave you hair off, it'll come back in curlier every time.
I had Radiation and chemo 13years ago. I lost very little of my hair what little I lost came in more Curley than before.
