Take a q-tip and soak it with rubbing alcohol. Stick the q-tip in your ear and let the alcohol drip into your eardrum, bending your head to the right, turning q-tip slightly however, not pushing it in far as to cause damage. The alcohol will dry whatever moisture (probably water) is in your ear. If you still have pain or feel fluid buildup, after a day or two of trying this, you can purchase an earwax removal kit from your local drugstore or visit the ear (EENT) doctor. Feel better..
You can relieve the pain that is in your ear due to the fluid by using ear drop solution. This will enable you to break down the earwax that may be holding water in the ear canal. If the pain persists, visit a doctor for more help.
