Can dogs run faster than cars?

Report as

Probably on a residential street with a 25mph limit but I doubt whether they could keep up on a regular highway. Some dogs are really fast, but not quite that fast!

Well, a greyhound could probably run faster than a Yugo, or a Prius haha ... but that's the exception, most cars can do over 100 MPH, no dog on earth can run that fast.

If the car is moving slower than the dogs top running speed, then yes it can. On the highway, no it cannot.

It depends on how fast the car is going. A Greyhound can run up to 45 miles per hour. So in some cases, yes!
