This question is for howlinwolf. Now I spoke to him & he says he will not show up to any of court dates of mine. Do you think FL will drop?

Or should he go & state he does want any actions against me at all?

Hi Guille. I read the earlier question. There is a good chance FL will proceed with the charges. Even if your uncle has, I'm assuming, forgiven you, the prosecutors office sees it as you still committed a serious crime. Good luck my friend, you need it.

There are high chances that the prosecutor will pursue the case, despite the fact that the victim does not show up. Sometimes, without an obliging victim, it can be very hard for the FL to prove its case. All the best in this.

Even though your uncle is letting it drop you will still need to go to court as the court has a pending case against you. Your lawyer can let the court know your uncle is not filing charges and the judge might let it drop but more then likely you will have court costs and possible fines. Its not ok what you did and you should be glad your uncle isn't pressing charges but you need to learn a lesson here. You need to take whatever happens and learn that it's not kool to steal from anyone no matter who it is. Why would you steal anyway? I'm sure your uncle worked hard for what he has just as you should work hard for what you want! You need to make it up to your uncle and get on a better path then your on now.

I doubt the state will drop the charges. Talk to your lawyer.
