International copyright protection

I'm an aspiring American musician, and going to be moving to Spain soon and I was wondering about international copyright protection. Will the works I've copyrighted while in America be protected in Spain and other countries? Will the works I copyright in Spain be protected in America and other countries? Will I be able to register copyright in Spain or will I have to go through the U.S. Copyright office?

I've been reading up online;but if anyone out shed any more light on the matter, that'd be appreciated.

There is no internal copyright that would protect your music in both countries. The copyright laws vary with countries so the work protected in Spain will not be necessarily protected in the United States. You have to ensure that you gain copyright protection from both countries. Visit http://www.copyright.gov/fls/fl100.html for more information.

I have no idea, but keep me updated about your life in Spain. Spain is AMAZING. I hope you enjoy it there. Do you speak Spanish?
