First let me say that I am very sorry that you are having to deal with people like this, I would suggest trying to explain to them that not all Muslims are terrorists, but I know that people who would say such things wont listen, so it is really not in your best interest to confront them, How do your parents or your religious leaders say you should handle it?
Alright, did you know that Hitler was a catholic? You're always going to encounter such treatment based on looks, beliefs, and other unnecessary things as such purely because fear dictates that one bad action reflects on everyone of relation. Might I recommend you seek guidance from your parents or local religious leader? It'll give you options.
no need to listen to them or showing any kind of response, believe in ONE ALLAH,& it should never results in hurting you OK......ignore those creepy people as there are many good fellows to support you....always be happy
Ignore them yes, but always be aware of your surroundings for your own safety and security. Seek advice from your elders and religious leaders. They have the experience and wisdom you need. Also, do not think everyone has the same feelings or attitudes. Be safe. Good luck.
you might smile and say you understand that all the major faiths of the west have had dark periods when the majority were blamed because of the actions of the minority. but mostly I think saying that you are an american( if you are) should do it. it saddens me to think of people still being wrongly accused because of their faith.

Be yourself and follow what you religion has told you to do in such situations. When they all see that you're a 'human', they will be ashamed of their superficial judgment, if they haven't forgotten about humanity, of course. Remember that you have the responsibility of being more careful about your behavior because: 1. Your a 'representative' of Muslims in that community 2. There are people waiting to pick on you. Never forget praying to Allah va-llaho khayron hafeza, ve hova arhamo-rrahemin! (Didn't find a better way to write it!)
Perhaps remind them that Muslim extremists have killed more Muslims than any other group of people on the planet, and that they don't automatically call Christians terrorists because Christian extremists have killed more Christians (i.e. Catholics vs. Protestants).
They are ignorant, the best thing is to try and educate them, if they don't want to listen then tell them to respect your right to your religion. Most people only hear what's on the news or what others have told them, they probably personally don't know any Muslims. Just like the cults that are here that take religion and twist it to make it bad, it doesn't mean the religion as a whole is wrong just the small portion that twist it. Education is the key to understanding.
There are a lot of prejudices against Muslims, probably because we live in fear of terrorists after 9/11. We need someone to blame for this, so we choose the people who are the same race and religion of them. You know you are not a terrorist, so avoid these people and ignore their bigoted comments.
Ignore them the best you can. Unfortunately theres always gonna be messed up people, but you can at least control how you react. I'm sorry you have to deal with that and i apologive on behalf of everyone who has done it to you. carry on now:)
