How can I get my mom to let me dye my hair?

I'm 14 almost 15 and I think I'm old enough and ready to dye my hair. I want to dye my whole head but my mom says no. I want to dye it light pink with a little of light blue and light purple. I know this might sound bad but I found a picture online and it looked really nice. And I can pay for it myself.
And does anyone know where there's a good place in Brooklyn that will do this nicely?

Talk to your mom about the issue further. Find out why she does not want you to dyer your hair, and then try to convince her that she is wrong. Make her see how this will be for your overall good then she might allow you to go ahead.

You do realize to do that you will have to bleach your hair first, and then add the dye? This can damage your hair beyond belief and they only way to recover is to cut it off and grow it out.

Trust me, the upkeep on colored hair is not fun or cheap and it completely destroys it. I've done red, which is the quickest to fade, but all non-natural hair colors will fade quickly. To get the brightest color, you have to bleach your hair and strip it of all pigment before dying it pink and blue. That means you're dying your hair twice each time and with fading and roots, you're going to have to dye it every 2-3 weeks. Your hair will quickly be fried and could literally start to break off, like straw.. Plus, if you need to dye/touch-up your hair and don't have the money for it, you're going to be walking around with platinum white hair. Trust your mom on this! If you really want to do it, ask your mom to compromise and see if she'd let you try out a couple of colored streaks in your hair...that way, you're getting the color, but you're also getting a taste of how expensive and time consuming worrying about fading and roots will be.

Honey you dont need colored hair to be pretty! you should talk to you mom. She loves you and does things for your own good. maybe you shouldnt do the whole thing. Start slew by asking her if you can dye the bottom half first? Just compromise with her. Good luck!

I dyed my hair permanent black at the age of 15 and always regretted it, once it's done there's no going back, it takes a long time to grow out
