Which majors should I look into for a future job in the CIA? Which colleges would be best in pursuing a position in the CIA?

Looking for ideal colleges that would provide direct internships with the CIA.

Have you thought of a major in homeland security? I know that Austin Peay State University offers it. Political Science might be another one. Go to your local college career counselor and/or library reference desk and they might be able to help you. Also, check out the occupational outlook website and type in "CIA Agent" and it will give you all the info you need as for as education needed, pay, associations, etc. Don't forget to check out their website www.cia.gov. and look at job postings that will give you a detailed description of what you really want to do within the CIA. Hope this all helps.

The CIA offers a variety of jobs, so you are most likely to get a job there regardless of what you majored in. on the whole, the agency hires people with majors in languages, IT, analytics, science, engineering, technology and Business. Check out their careers page on www.cia.gov/careers/index.html. Any of the universities in the US offers some or all these courses.
