I agree with Marjorie. Very good advice. There ARE tons of people that do these things. I constantly roll my eyes. And snap my right toes. When you're in a group of people look around. You may notice people doing these things. Like wringing their hands, twisting their hair, sucking on their hair, humming, nodding, swaying. Do you actually COUNT how many times you do it in a day? That could be a little OCD.
It could be a mild form of OCD. Or just a stress relief mechanism. The best idea is to simply make an appt. and ask your doctor. And it may help to know there are many many people who perform these little ' quirky' actions that are otherwise normal , healthy people. Ask you doctor . It will make you feel better ;)
Hyperbolically is the word you're looking for. Not sarcastically. To answer your question, I think you just need something to fidget with. A stress ball or a keychain, for example. When you're not holding anything, you cross your fingers and other things. You just need something to hold.
