Why do teachers give us SO much homework?

Do they think it is a joke or do they realize that we have stuff to do to?
I mean who even likes homework? Seriously?????? And does anybody know a Taylor that goes to Sierra Middle School in Parker? If so write a question directly to me on here and then we will ya know chat! : D Lol

I think they wanna keep us busy at home that's why they give us a lot of homework. And homework sucks I hate

Homework is given to practice what u learn in school. And I agree with the answer above me, hw stinks.

Teachers are put through alot,if a class is not doing well then they can get fired. Also teachers have tons of 'homework' too.
