How to make my hair straight?

I have really curly hair and it takes forever to straighten so I usually give up halfway through and just put my hair into a pony tail. is there another way to get my hair straight without blow drying it, because hot or cold air, my hair gets super puffy even if I brush it the whole time and put frizzy cream in it. but it does take the curls out, except I still have to straighten it afterwards. any advice??

Use a really good shampoo & conditioner specifically for "smoothing" or "straightening". The best I've found is Pureology Smoothing. Expensive, but totally worth it. It works SO great after about a week of using it, and it almost transforms your hair. Then I use a serum, usually by Chii. Blow dry, and twist into a low bun when its all dry (and still kinda hot from the dryer), then fasten with a small clip (on the end of hair, and side of bun so it doesn't wrinkle your hair too much). Let it stay in the bun for awhile...take out and then you have a natural looking smooth wave that is to die for :)

Try straightening it when it's wet

That will burn your hair very badly, unless you have a special kind of straightener.

It doesn't burn my hair. And mine is just a normal hair straightener. My hair is still healthy...

No that will burn your hair badly. Try using a "hot comb" and make sure to use heat protection. Have someone who knows what they are doing do it.

Brazilian blow out works great on my curly hair, but it's expensive! Shop different salons & don't pay more than 175.00. It lasts about 4 mos.

To keep your hair tamed, I reccomend Herbal Essences Hello Hydration shampoo and conditioner to anyone. After showering when your hair is damp, put a little dollop throughout your hair and leave it in. Then spray heat-protection all over your hair, and blowdry completely. Clip up your hair in layers, and straighten from the bottom, going up. Use a flat-iron that goes to at least 200 degrees celcius.

First, apply heat protectant to your clean and untangled hair. (I would suggest using a John Frieda brand.) Secondly, taking small strands of hair,(because your hair is so curly) straighten it. After you're done straightening your whole set of hair apply an anti-frizz or smoothing serum to your hair, so it stays straight and doesn't get frizzy throughout the day. I have curly hair too, so I understand this takes a long time, Expecially if you have really thick hair. If you don't have time in the morning to do your hair, just do it before you go to bed. I hope this helps!(: Good Luck!(:

You could have it chemically straightened.

Try the Brazilian blowout (stays in for 10-12 weeks) or the Japanese straitening perm (stays until new growth)
