How can I lose weight by using the treadmill?
Okay, I'm sure my question seems pretty stupid. However, the thing is i have a treadmill in my room, so i want to use it in order to lose weight. I am 15 years old, 5'5 feet tall, weight 149 pounds. Since school is over for the summer, I can finally focus on losing weight. But I heard that if you ran on the treadmill daily not only will you lose weight but you will GAIN muscles and your legs will be BIGGER?! Is that true?? I don't want that, I want to LOSE weight in my hips, butts, thighs and legs not gain muscles and make them look bigger! Everywhere i go girls are thin and their body is perfect, expect me. Hopefully, i will lose weight to raise my confidence, I've always wanted to lose weight because of the way i feel about my biggest insecurity, my body. But now I'm not sure how to start! I can't run because i don't want my legs to be big, they're already big as it is and i don't want to make it worse. I want to lose weight in my butts, hips, thighs and legs. Should i walk on the treadmill instead? Will that make me lose weight? If so, how many minutes should i start walking?? and the speed how much should it be? Thank you!
