What could cause a headache by eyes & forehead?

I was in the mountains yesterday for most of the day. I kept drinking water when I could. I started to get this headache by my right eye mostly & across the forehead before falling asleep last night. So I put some doterra deep blue on my forehead & back of neck to see if that would help since when I closed my eyes it seemed to be worse at times. This morning when waking up it was still there. Any suggestions on what to do or what might have caused would be great. I'm going back to the mountains today but as long.

It could be from the altitude and thinner oxygen level. Could also be the start of an eye problem. Make a Doctor's Appt. and see if he thinks you need to be checked for glasses. I do think it was the altitude and less oxygen reaching your brain. See your Doctor to be safe if it continues!

I already have contacts, so I can guess it was the altitude probably. I won't be there as long today. Thanks

How about some helpful votes? Best way to get followers is by voying when people try to help. Ever been checked for Asthma? Might be a reason for not getting enough oxygen.

I found out the altitiude isn't that much of a difference though.

I see you live in the central Valley. You would have to go a ways up for any real altitude problems. Does sound like a lack of oxygen though. I live in Folsom. You should have your ears checked and also your sinuses.

when this happens to me it's usually because I'm having a hard time seeing correctly. and it strains my eyes therefore, I wear my glasses.

Thanks. I have contacts already and will try them to see, hoping it's the altitude. I just took 2 ibuprofen and 2 extra strength Tylenol so hope that helps too.

It may be due to the altitude, if you do not adapt, descend.

Thanks. I am going up today but not as long. I'm hoping that it's altitude but I didn't think it was that much of a difference but it must be.

Could also been from allergies, causing sinus congestion.
