It depends how you like it. It is kind of harder to make friends at home school but people usually home school if they have hard times in public school like: bullying, bad grades, hard time paying attention, can't handle it etc... Home school can help people with those problems, Some kids just don't like the hassle of public school.
Public school is easier to make friends and you have professional teachers teach you and can be fun. But there are bullies, that's pretty much it.
I would personally pick public because I have no problems with it.
If by better you're referring to the quality of education it's a simple matter of the numbers. Statistically it's a joke, if you would like to actually be prepared to further your education & grab a few scholarships along the way home schooling is so far ahead that it's really sad in a way. At 1 time the US. was at the top of the list when it came down to math, science, & social sciences. As the government began to take control the quality became progressively worse. There are no shortage of articles published about the quality of students being handed a diploma. Remedial is the word for most freshman. Our children our being ripped off, plain & simple. We used to have 7 or 8 exchange students that would do their senior year here in the states. These kids ran into a big problem. The system here is considered so poor that if they wanted to graduate with a diploma from France, Italy, Spain, Germany etc. they'd have to return home and repeat their senior year.
Public school if you can pay attention to class and actually listen to what the teachers tell you. If you're an idiot and refuse, then home school because it'll be more one on one so that you might actually pay attention. I, personally, would die if I was home schooled.
Depends how you personally see things in life. If you wih for the best education you can possibly get for your future, then homeschool. If you want to meet new people everyday, see new things, expericence new things, the. Public school! I hope this helped!! :)
