How common is it to have two queen bees working together in the same hive?
It is very rare, and impossible to find two queen bees living in the same hive. In the hive, there are 3 different groups. They include the queen, drone and the workers. The work of the queen is to produce more bees.
never should there be 2 o:
Usually, when a new queen cell hatches, the old queen along with other members will leave the hive. The new queen takes over. This is one thing that causes honey bees to swarm.
Bees aren't loyal to more than one Queen. If there's two, it must be a newly hatched queen that hasn't left yet.
