I have been thinking about getting a Samoyed for a while. Any extra info that I should know before buying one?

I have been researching as much as I can about the breed. I can't think of any time in my life that someone in the house didn't have a dog so I'm very comfortable around them but I've never had a Samoyed or know anyone with one. I don't have any experience with this particular breed. Is there anything really important that I should know? Also I'm really interested in showing. What are the show standards for samoyeds?
And is there any special grooming things that I need for one or anything like that? Money isn't any issue so I can provide it with whatever it needs but what exactly do I need?

Thank you

I've been researching online about pretty much anything I can find about the breed. I just want to make sure I know as much as I can before getting one. But I didn't really find anything about if they have certain things that stand them apart from other breeds. Like if they are one that barks a lot. If they have a tendency to chew on things. If they are exceptionally smart. Just any facts that I should know.

I found that it helps to contact a breeder or two and have a conversation with them regarding your specific questions . If they are reputable and looking for the best match you will get helpful input.
