How can i tell my parents i got a tatoo behind there backs.

so i got a tatoo on the weekend with my friend but my parents dont know. how can i tell them with out them getting mad at me.

The best way would be to explain to them the reason for getting one. Make sure you select a good time to tell them this, as it can ease the situation. Their reaction will mostly depend on what the tattoo is, and where it is located. As long as it is not something vulgar, their reaction should not be that bad. The reaction can be determined by your age, and their reaction towards such issues.

They're most likely going to be disappointed. How upset would depend on your age, how big the tattoo is, and where it's located.

It is better to be honest now than to have them find out later. Tell them that you are very sorry, and understand their side. It may take a while for you to build their trust back again, but you can do it. Pray that God will give you courage and wisdom for how to tell them :) I hope it works out well for you!

Did U ask originally and they said "no" or do U just know they'll say "NO"? It seems the trend these days for girls is the lower back If that's where it is, you may want to pull Ur trump card & tell them it won't be visible at job interviews. (depending on the job of course). Your relatives won't likely see it at holidays/birthdays. What else can u use.. U understand it's a lifelong decision and ur not afraid of commitment. I'm trying to give u some ideas so u have a little leverage. It is YOUR body. & I'm w/everyone else. If it's in good taste, you should be o.k. If it isn't, well, buy a lot of foundation make-up, and don't take ur shirt off until ur 18! Personally, I like tattoos, when in good taste. I have one. (it's small & inconspicuous) & I love it. I hope u like urs

thank this is very good advise C: hopefully they wont be mad at me. my tatoo isnt that big so maybe they wont be that mad.
