What's the fastest way to grow your hair?

My hair is very short in the back, just enough for someone to grab hold and yank, and in the front, the longest part is to my chin exactly. I use a straightener every other day, as do I wash my hair. The last time I dyed it was at the beginning of September. I want to grow it out to my shoulders at the very least. Any help?
