Well, I was told, that god has always been here...and Im a christian and I believe that dinosaurs existed...and having that knowledge has not actually effected, my faith, at all....Not really..Im just as saved as ever....we had to wait for the messiah ?? my faith is not debunked because of this, in any way, for me, personally
The way I view things is that God set the "Big Bang" in motion, and created the Dinosaurs. However, consider this... humanoids would probably not have survived if they had coexisted with dinosaurs! I know it might shock you, but not all of us who are religious/spiritual take the bible literally... some of us even believe in evolution :P
It's nice to see that you're grasp of Christianity is so substantial. I would love to read the books that you read. Please enlighten me, God created the Heavens & the earth right after the dinosaurs did. Pick up a Bible & do a little reading, you might learn a thing or two. If not, at least you looked into other possibilities.
quot; All that Catholic stuffquot; did not start 2000 years ago. God was here when nothing was... when there was no light and no matter. God has no beginning and no end. If you think computers are awesome, then God is even more so, because he created the guy who made the first computer. I understand how some can#039;t fathom how someone you can#039;t see exists. It is faith that allows one to believe what he has not seen or touched. By your faith, you will be known. Through your faith, you will be saved.
This has almost turned into a different question, it seems to now be "who came first the dinosaur or god". To me it's the dinosaur, god didn't get into the picture until man needed answers to questions he could not understand. Being man has been around less then 100k years and dinosaurs died off oner 1million years ago, I go with the big critters.
If you believe the bible to be the word of God then you will believe that God came before dinasours. If you dont believe the bible to be the word of God you may believe any number of ideas. There is one theory that God made earth with matter. Were remnants of dinosaurs in that matter? I don't know. I think I'll ask my Heavenly Father one day.
ever hear of the big bang theory? that's how :) not the show and science. seems most logical better than some guy called "god" sitting up their and going hm... im bored... time to make everything.. also if god created everything then where the heck was he before he made everything? floating around in a black abyss of nothingness? seems rather fishy to me.
The Earth is only 6000yrs old according to the Bible and the best guess about the dinosaurs is that man created them through genetic experimentation to be used as work animals and weapons of war. They all died in the Great Flood survived by Noah and family.
if you believe in dinosuars, and god, look in the bible, it mentions something called a livithan. christianity says that god created 2 people, and animals, and then sin was over abundent, and noah saved the last of 2 animals, and 2 of those animals were probally dinosuars. in chrisitnaity they believe evolution is fake, and dinosuars adapted to there surounding, like fish that are born in the dark dont see, and animals that are born where its cold will have longer hair ect. alexander the great heard stories of indians worhiping a large fire breathing flying thing, and then in the 1400s there was a story about a small cat like bird flying thing that breathed fire, and the people killed it out of fear. unfornunatley that may have been the last dinosuar.
Well one thought is that in the beginning there were creatures that walk in the dark before God made light. Or there where land outside of the Garden of Eden that hasn't been talked about. They could have lived then? We will never have the complete time line of events. Humans would find a way to disclaim it if we did anyway.
