I highly doubt it. To travel AT the speed of light requires an infinite amount of energy. This is something we cannot do. Also, anything that doesn't already go faster than light will never break the barrier. It would violate the causality principle.
According to the modern theory of relativity it is impossible. It says that if something tries to cross the speed of light the event slows down. This is what happens in the Large Hadron Collider. That's why Stephen Hawking say that we can time travel to future because as we travel at this speed our ageing slows down.
