If a piece of metal bubbles when placed in acid,is that a physical change or chemical change.explain why?

Report as

chemical change. because here the acid is a chemical substance, a corrosive that dissolves some metals, causing the bubbling. An example of physical change would be if holes were nailed into the metal.

well it could be both physical and chemical because if the piece of metal changed in any way, then its physical but if all it did was bubble or effervesce then its chemical.
