How do I save old voice mails I have of my sister and dad who have passed away AND get a new phone? I don't want to lose the messages.

If you have a recording program on your computer, you can play the messages with the volume turned up, and then save the file to your computer. If not, you can get a digital recorder, they are fairly cheap as well.

I have a tape of my mom talking, and I've only listened to it once (the day I first came across it), but just knowing that I have it is comforting enough.

Thank you Seohira. I have decided to buy a recording device and then I can just tuck it away with extra batteries. I haven't listened to their voices either...

Thank you boondox. I've been holding on to this old phone even though I got a new one for Christmas because afraid to lose their voices but I may just buy something to record them all on just in case something goes wrong in the transfer process . They've been on there a year. I haven't listened but some day I may want to. Thank you for answering my question . I was hoping you'd see this. :)

Aw I'm so sorry- and I'm sorry but I don't think that's possible- record the messages on to a video camera or something :)

Some phones can record phone calls, maybe yours can and you can record the voicemail then save it to a sd card.
