Not at all. Tanning is the #1 cause of skin cancer, and the UV rays have gotten much stronger/worse for you in recent years. If you are sensistive to the sun 7 burn easily, you reeeeaaally need to stay out of the sun. People who burn easily are much more likely to develop skin cancer... and... Since I know you'll do it anyway...
Limit your sun exposure time to 15-20 minutes maximum per day. Always use a sunscreen with a high SPF -- you'll still get a tan, but it helps protects you from the most harmful rays. Avoid being in the sun completely between 11 AM & 2 PM
It's best NOT to tan at all, and this is coming from a former "tan-orexic." Use self-tanner lotions or spray tanning instead of being in the sun or using tanning beds. You really don't want skin cancer, it's not pretty.
I would suggest you don’t tan at all. Instead protect your skin with a 30 SPF sun block and be active outside the tan will come naturally. If you have sunburn or have been outside for longer than two hours you need to apply a sun block with a higher SPF. You should also never trust the sun block you should apply it every hour especially if you are in the water or have been sweating hope this helps and that you choose not to let your skin go unprotected. No tan is worth risking your health. Good luck. :)
Dang im 13 and i i want tanned and will nearly not happen because im an active allstar cheerleader an always inside for practice. I would just be actve outside to get a some what of a tan. But I get spray tanned for health reasons of tanning outsidse
