Why does February have 28 days...
Because the earth actually tacks 364.5 days to fully revolve around the sun not a full 365. So to compensate every few years we make our calendar shorter by one day to accurately describe the rotation of the earth around the sun.
Because it is cool like that
February has 31 days when you go to the future. Every leap year, 1 day will be added to it
because it's cold in February! it has 28 days because that's all it deserves!!!...;-(
They had to cut a couple of days somewhere so the calendar and the Earth's revolution match. Plus it makes winter seem shorter.
Leap year, it doesn't take 365 days to Circle the sun, it takes 365.25 days, that's why every 4 years there's a leap year
