What are the signs of sleep apnea?

?

Report as

My faster has sleep apnea. You snore a lot. If you share a bed with someone ask if you snore/ stop and start breathing In your sleep. Sleep apnea can be treated with a simple surgery (that didn't work for my father) or a cpap machine (those work very well) get a sleep test at a local hospital

They stop breathing during sleep and they really don't get enough sleep so they are tired during the day. The person could use a cpap and it will help them breathe better

Falling asleep while driving, from lack of sleep,...saying things backwards or goofy, because of lack of oxygen...suspension of breathing while sleeping....sleeping with the head thrown back in an attempt to keep the throat open...'snorking' yourself awake...My hubby did that once and punched ME (gently) for snoring! Breathe right strips were all he needed. But he is improving his eating habits also. Untreated it can cause thickened blood and heart disease among other things. Nasty stuff.
