Why are my hamstring always sore lately?

Not from running or anything like that. Just always sore & tight, some days way worse than others, but pretty constant.

The soreness can be caused by strain, bruise, pulled hamstring or muscle imbalance. What you need to do is to rest your leg, compress and ice it. You can elevate your leg when sitting and practice stretching exercises. If the case becomes severe, you can consult a doctor as the condition may become serious.

Thanks, it's been going on for a few months now. Don't remember any kind of injury though, it's weird.

Depending on your age and diet, it could be a sign of early diabetes.

i'm 32 and just recently started eating healthy. good to know about the diabetes, it does run in my family.

Because you don't stretch them as well as you should and the hamstrings are the weakest muscles in the leg so you need to make sure you exercise and stretch them now they also may be sore because of a certain sleeping position you may be untitled to aswell...
