What does it mean when a guy asks who you like?

I added this guy who was new to my school on Facebook and he messaged me and asked if I knew him. I told him that I've seen him around school and he said he thinks he's seen me to. After that we got to know each other and we talked for a while. I started to like him a lot. The next day he messaged me and we talk for a bit and then he randomly asked me who I liked? I was really confused cause we barley kind of met. And i ended up telling him i liked some random guy i made up. Was he curious? Or does he like me back? Or was he trying to make conversation?

That is a prying question that is looking for a favorable answer. The only problem is that there is no way of telling if he is really interested in you or he has another agenda. Meet him personally and evaluate his behavior over a period of time before drawing your conclusions.

It could be all three. It's honestly the oldest trick in the book, yet he could just be wondering. What I would do is actually spend time with him out side of school. Go to the mall and walk around actually meet him and see how he acts around you. If he walks really close to you, or he offers to pay for things like a drink or something then I'd say a few days later say you like him a little bit. Although, Doing it at the mall will hide the fact that you are finding this out you see, because a lot of friends hang out there. Oh, and don't wait for him to pay for something maybe look at something and be like 'ehh, to much.' and see what he dose. Good luck :)
