My 6 year old brother told us that he saw a paranormal being. He described he having red eyes, gray skin, and parted hair. What is this?

We think he may be Psychic but I never heard anything about red eyes and black parted hair.

Report as

He most likely saw the image, or a similar one on a television screen a while ago. It is not real.

No such thing as Psychics ... if you believe you are, call me (you'll know my name and number) ... and I'll get back on here and confirm it.

I could tell you the line was busy... But you'd know I was just foolin' ;)))) Excellent answer.
Report as
... I actually had someone ask me that once ... "Well, what if they called when the line was busy?" ... My answer: "If they were psychic, they would know when the line wasn't busy." ... LOL

His imagination. He saw something once and you're feeding into it. Stop doing that or he'll end up messed up! Kids say all kinds of things. If you believe it all....

Don't ever under estimate the power of a child's imagination. Could it be real? Could it be a vivid imagination? Monsters in the closet has plagued many a small child.

What ever it is .. is will scare the b'jesus out of a six year old. That is what you should focus on .. settle his fears, so he can sleep at night.

Children say all sorts of things. If we assume he's telling the truth though, he may have dreamt it and confused his dream with wakeful experience in his memory. He may have been hallucinating, for any of a number of reasons. He may even have seen a person in a costume. There are many rational explanations for occurences like this without turning to supernatural theories.

What is this?
The imagination of a 6 year old.
Don't feed the imagined monsters or they can grow into real ones.

He most likely imagined it. Do you know when he saw it? Was he in bed at nighttime when he saw the creature? If so, he probably experienced a hypnagogic hallucination. That happens to me sometimes

Even though most might look upon this as a child being funny and having an imagination, demons and paranormal entities appeal to young children from the ages 4-7. You can mark this off as his imagination for now, but if you experience something paranormal, or your brother gets worse, get someone to cleanse the house you love in, or get a paranormal group of investigators to show that you and your family will keep him safe from this "red eyed" man. I've heard of things like this, and children DO have the power to be psychic, especially at his age.

Children do not have power of anything but there are the most innocent , they can see and do not know how to judge, but when they grow up they just can't see anymore. We cannot tell them they see something is not real....
Report as
In the world, there are some children who have a power of communicating with the paranormal. But, in this case, this person can consider that this is just his imagination.
Report as
No most children can see but will they talk about it or not is the matter, maybe they are afraid of their parents then they just shut up.
Report as
That is a possibility that children can be afraid or insecure about speaking to their parents for guidence.
Report as
yeah because we adults do not afraid and cannot see those things. But if your children said something like that you really must consider why they say this type of paranormal things...

Sometimes it could be imagination. Other times, it is truth. I have a nephew who has a vast imagination, and he has told me things like that there is a HUGE gorilla in my house on our second floor. And, there wasn't. It was imagination.
Report as
How do you know they are imaginatiion? As i say demons can be many forms only we can do is tell them not to be afraid, because we are here to protect him/her.
Report as
i'm not here to scare anyone, but sometimes we adult must protect our children what ever they see or told us we must protect them.About 20years ago,my little sis saw someone flying around when she was just 3yrs old.I ask her what colour is him/her do they have legs or not?She seem that she was not afraid at all.but we carry her and tolld her do not ever care this type of thing anymore.I do not know your culture have any months that pray to ancestors but we do.That is the only time they are free and roam the earth.

It's most likely his imagination. When my brother was little, he was dead set on believing there was a tiger under his bed that would growl in the middle of the night. One time, my brother jumped from his bed, onto the stove, into my dad's bed without even touching the floor. XD That's how vivid a child's imagination is. You just have to make sure that you calm him and show him nothing's there when he talks about it again.

It doesn't sound like something a normal six-yr old would imagine, but you can't rule imagination out. It could possibly be a demon, but that doesn't mean he's psychic. Tell him to ignore whatever it is and if that doesn't work I think a psychiatrist would be of use . . . and a priest if it turns out it's real.
