Best friend feels like a third wheel. What to do?
My friend wanted Bff#1 and I to hang out after school. So we did without telling Bff#2 because my friend wanted it to just be us three. I got home and she texted Bff#1 and I saying how she felt like a third wheel and how she found out we hung with our friend. She said I never talk when I am with her, and with Bff#1 I don't shut up.Bff#2 and I became friends by doing a french project. After that we kinda just became friends who were really close, and eventually best friends. Bff#1 and I have more in common, and are closer than Bff#2 and I. I know this might sound mean, but I prefer Bff#1's company more. Tomorrow is the last day of school, then we are splitting off to high school. Bff#1 and I are going to the same school, but Bff#2 isn't. Bff#2 said she looked forward to finding new best friends in high school, where she wouldn't be a third wheel. How do I go to school tomorrow? Her locker is right beside mine. Stuff like this has sorta happened before, but nothing like this. I feel bad, and genuinely care for her, but is it even worth saving our friendship? In highschool, we all probably will make new friends.
