Its based off of personal preference. I could honestly care less which engine I use, but it's usually Google for me. If you want to have a little fun and try figuring out which search engine is better for you then try http://www.bingiton.com . (Note: this website is owned by Microsoft, so I would be a bit cautious as to trusting their final results).
If you try them yourself, without going to "take the test!" or whatever they look exactly the same. Bing does NOT have little pictures beside each of its website suggestions (like it seems to show in the commercial).
I've never tried their "test," but it doesn't matter because I like Yahoo the best anyway!
The genius of google is that they only show what you need... no extra stuff. The problem I have with Bing and Yahoo (and AOL before them) is they get all fancy and complicated. KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) wins me over..

I don't like it. They don't stay updated when competing with the features of Google. In Google, search for something, then under the search field, click on Search Options. You get different options for filtering your search. Bing does not do that.
If you want another good search, try DuckDuckGo. I like them, because they respect privacy and they diss Google a whole lot.
