Where is the best place to start writing a story? at the beginning, middle or end? no rude or harsh comments please!

imo! never the middle, the end can be fun like if you start it off and be like, lemme explain how this happened. but usually the beginning is the best place to start because well... its the beginning :3

true. what if youre writing a horror story and just cant get the beginning? do you start in the middle then?

give an origin story to whatever the horror is, thats how most horror storys start, o rmisleading the audience. thats always fun.

ok. tell me what u think of a story tht a murder happened 40 years ago, nd now 4 college students trot up 2 the mansion 2 prove the myth wrong, nd funny things start 2 happen.

sounds like an origin story, like things going on in the mansion and then make a caption or parenthesis saying (40 years later) and then go on from their.

I would say personally the beginning is the best place to start. It would make me lost on what is going on if I started in the middle.
