Report as

You can use Albuterol Nebulizer treatments to relieve symptoms of Pleurisy. It is good to have a prescription from a doctor or a physicist. Pleurisy is an inflammation of the thin moist membrane, which covers the lungs. You can read more about this treatment on http://www.ehow.com/about_5045755_albuterol-nebulizer-treatments.html.

thank you for responding. I believe I know the cause of this and just need to get some relief. Thought the nebulizer might be helpful and wanted to try it.

Yes, it could allay the symptoms temporarily but first of all, wouldn't you want to know why you have pleurisy? There are many things that can cause it. To get rid of it, it's best to consult your primary care physician.

thank you for responding. I think the pluerisy iresulted from a sinus/chest congestion that I was treated for last week. I took a 6 pak dose of azithromycin (ended on Friday) and still taking loradadine, and sudafed. I had eye surgery on Monday and hoped that the congestion would not delay surgery. They gave me a breathing treatment before surgery and all was well. The pain in chest, sholder, back began yesterday and I just want some relief without additional dr. visit. Everyone in my home has had this mess for couple of weeks and nebulizer was prescribed for my sister. Just wanted to know if it would help ease pain - have enuf pain from eye!. Thanks.
