Cherries, oatmeal, dark chocolate, bananas, whole grain toast, tea( decaffeinated is best), yogurt, almonds & walnuts, honey. Melatonin is a hormone your body produces for sleep, maybe your not making enough. You can get it over the counter and its not addictive

Get a glass of milk and put it in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Warm milk helps. Eat turkey. It has tryptophan, an amino acid that makes you sleepy! Good luck!

No, the turkey thing is kind of a myth. It has tryptophan, but not as much as everyone thinks. Cheese has more than turkey. The reason you're sleepy after thanksgiving is because you just stuffed your face and by doing that, you've used a lot of energy, and your body needs more energy to digest the junk you just inhaled.

Fresh cherries, if you like cherries. They contain melatonin, a natural hormone that helps regulate sleep. You can also buy melatonin tablets over-the-counter.
