How to soothe industrial piercing pain? And should it still be hurting? -does not look infected and is not hot to touch!

It's been 3 days now, and the pain is constantly there unless the piercing is wet! Sea salt in water or cleaning solution bought from piercer is what I'm using. I have 9 other piercings, and none have ever been in this much pain after! Please help me!

Cold compresses can help to ease the pain and if the pain becomes unbearable you can take OCT pain killers. In addition, it is not unusual for the pain to last even a week but it will reduce as long as it is not infected. However, if the pain does not subside you should go back to where you got the piercing for advice.

Thanks ill try a soft cold cloth! Gunna try to stay away from medications until I know for sure it won't be bleeding anymore! I hear it can thin out blood clots! But thank you! I will definitely keep it in mind!

Going to be sore for awhile. Should be cleaning it 4 times a day. Do not sleep on that side. Takes six months to a year to fully heal. That is what I learned from looking it up. Good luck

I have been cleaning it more than 4 times a day, makes it feel better for a couple minutes. Anytime the pain is too much I will always clean it or soak it. Thanks! I didn't know it would be that long!
