A lot of anxiety about moving, can be caused by what you do not know. Once your family decides where to move, go online and try to find out as much about the city as you can. Look up the city's history, monthly events, and any places you usually like to go, like libraries or any hobbies you have.

This will acquaint you with the area, before you ever get there. You can even find photos of the city on-line. It is all about getting to know the place you are going and everything about it, before you move. This can help you to feel better about moving and reduce the anxiety. Take care.

You could talk to your parents about how you feel. Moving to a different town can be quite overwhelming, but you will soon get used to the new place with the support and love of the rest of the family members.

Once you get there, try to become friends with children that live near you. It's still the summer so you can make some friends before the school year starts. Maybe join a sport or club if there isn't anyone your age around you.

Moving can be tough, but think of it as a good thing. You can change your ENTIRE personality if you wanted! Be someone new or just be yourself. Make a lot of friends. And STAY OUT OF CORNERS! :)

Just be yourself no matter what. I'm sure if you do that you'll have tons of new friends. Good luck in your new school and house

Well the key in moving is to look at it as a fresh start. That's what I used it as and anything I didn't like about myself I changed when I moved and became the better person I am today
