When does A Tattoo Fully Heal

I got a tattoo a couple days ago and I'm now putting A&D but and its pretty itchy so when does it heal
P.S. I didn't bleed when I got the tattoo and the tattoo artist went deep

It takes at least two weeks to be well on the way to healing.

It's different for everyone, but most tattoos heal within a couple of weeks. Proper aftercare means your risk of infection's almost gone after one week, and the last little bit is sometimes ridiculously itchy because the skin is peeling a bit. This obviously depends on a bunch of things including the size of the tattoo, the location and what kinds of needles were used.

idk about the needles but I got it on the left of my chest and it has 2 names kinda small but enough to see when I have a muscle shirt on

Shouldn't take too long, then :) Just keep applying whatever ointments/lotions the artist told you to do and follow the rest of the aftercare instructions :D

he told me not to put anything

for my older sister she had a tattoo on her back in color and about the size of a softball her tattoo took a month to heal and for her skin to no longer require moisturizer and for her skin to no longer flake

6 weeks is usually complete. put a cloth over it and pat GENTLY over the cloth. the itch is crazy but dont scratch it directly. in a couple days, switch to non scented lotion if it starts to look gooey with a&d.
