Your question is difficult to decipher. That makes it hard to come up with an answer.
You ask if a Limited Liability Company (LLC) will protect you in a divorce but don't say what you want protection from or how you think the LLC will protect you. Protection from paying child support? Alimony? Losing property?
Then you ask if you do a LLC now, will he be able to claim any part. The way the question is written leads me to believe you want to know if he can claim any part of the LLC. That doesn't make sense because he is either a share holder or he isn't. There are other questions I could put here but Ask.com has a character limit so let's move on.
You are confusing when you ask if you do a LLC now but then later state that you started the LLC before you were married.
What state you live in will play a big factor also. If you live in a community property state your divorce will be handled differently than if you don't.
