How many trees does it take to make a ream of paper?

or just one piece of paper for that matter

A ream of 500 sheets uses 6% of a tree. Thought these is determined by several factors in paper making process, as the process is guided by several factors. These factors are what kind of paper is being made, the manufacturing process whether mechanical or ground-wood process and also uses of trees that is free-sheet or Kraft process.
