Eat healthy and workout daily. Just go for a run, eat good. Don't eat junk food, or late at night.

I lost over 75 pounds last year, and have kept it off since. Thing is whenever I tell people how I did it they generally lose interest right away once they realize its not a magic cure.

It's really just the basic thing we all know. First of all, I'll tell you that I'm a 60 year old diabetic. So as you may know, that makes losing more difficult then someone younger and in better health. Here's what I did. First of all, do not diet! I eat reasonably healthy ALL THE TIME. Use excellent portion control. Remember nit eating enough (healthy) calories won't work. I actually had a dietician tell me I needed to eat 1200, even though she knew how much exercise I get. I tried it for a while. Given that I've read for years on healthy (yet realistic) diets and exercise , I believed she was wrong. After a couple of months of doing exactly what she told me with absolutely zero results, I decided to try what I thought would work. I eat between 1400 and 1450 calories. I limit my carbs to about 125 per day. I'm entirely too cheep to pay for a gym so about 2 1/2 years ago I bought a recumbent exercise bike at Wal mart (less then $150.00). I use it 2 times per day. Each time I go for at least 6 mikes in at least 30 minutes. I have a big dog and take her for good long walks every day. That's it! I lost over 75 pounds and have kept it off the last nine months. The deal is eat and exercise in a way you can everyday for the rest of your life. IF I CAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU!!!!!
