PTSD. My grandpa has it a little bit. Every time a cell phone goes off he jumps because he says he heard that too much from bombs before they went off in Vietnam.
It could be PTSD or it could just be them needing time to get back to every day life.
My WWII veteran father calls it "shell shock" but now it's called PTSD or post traumatic stress disorder.
During World War 2 and Korea,it was called battle fatigue.Now with troops coming home from Iraq and Afganistan it's called PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).Hope this info helps
