what kind of question is this? of course there's werewolves!, perhaps you don't read about them in the news or see them on tv, but they are out there lurking in the shadows of the night, some even walk among us and are confused with hippies or hipsters or even bums, for christ sakes! hide your daughters!
While a lot of people do believe that werewolves do exist, they actually only exist in mythology or folklore. This is because no human can shape shift themselves into a wolf or wolf-like creature whenever they want to do so.

There's no scientific facts to support it. I've read that the legend stems from people that suffers from a symptom called hypertrichosis, which is a genetic condition that causes abnormal hair growth all over the body. Thus creating a wolf-like appearance.
In terms of physically transforming into a wolf and only can be killed by a silver bullet, I can't say there has been any actual credible scientific facts.
Try looking up "Lost Tapes," it's a show on Animal Planet that has recordings of people having interactions (usually scary) with things we consider fake. Werewolves is one of the episodes. Pretty creepy stuff.
