Nothing. You must be watching Faux, when I did my morning web search the only site that had anything to say about the ACA was, not surprisingly, Faux news. Perhaps they're pushing for the republicans in the house to attempt the 38th repeal of Obamacare, seems to be the only thing the GOP actually wants to accomplish. To bad they couldn't have spent 1 or 2 of those attempts passing a Works Bill, or on campaign finance reform.
The true impact on the American public has yet to be felt - and it won't be a pretty feeling. Just this morning I learned that they are postponing the requirement that businesses with over 50 employees must offer health insurance or pay a fine. They are delaying a year so they can further clarify the requirement and make it more understandable. What's to understand? You going to go broke paying for health insurance instead of investing in your business and hiring new employees. Can't get more simple than that.
Why are 99.99% of your questions centered around Obama? Or bashing democrats and promoting republicans? Not to mention they all seem to be RHETORICAL so you don't even need answers, you're just trying to spark a debate. Then all you do is give stars to the answers that say "boo obama! he sucks!". You do realize that bashing Obama doesn't accomplish anything, right? If it's "all over CNN" then you have absolutely no reason to be asking this question. You're just a troll!
Today, with no fanfare, they postponed the employer mandate until 2015. The rest is still on pace for 2014ish. This means we will have no requirement for employers to provide insurance, but individuals will be required to purchase it, likely on exchanges. The costs for exchange insurance are predicted average between 28% and 146% more than 2013 similar policies. But there are more than enough people who don't like the law that legislators are running away from stating support or fixing the law-- they don't want to be questioned by their constituents at open forums. It's a bit of a train wreck, or a Challenger disaster.
Unfortunately nothing. Tuesday the White House postponed the employer mandate until 2015. It's smart on their part because that won't kick in until after the 2014 elections. Also it will somewhat decrease more layoffs and work hours cuts by employers because they have another year before they have to comply.
