Convincing my parents about French

Both of my sisters have taken Spanish, but I want to take French. I think French is a beautiful language, even the writing. example: bonjour! Spanish: hola! Just no. Also, I don't really know Spanish but here's French: Jette plumerai and then there's Spanish that's all taco and burrito... I need help to convince my parents to let me join French. Please help

French is not in demand. Learn English VERY well, then move on to Spanish. There are many more jobs that require Spanish and English spoken in the US than French jobs.

Your parents probably want you to learn Spanish because you will eventually need it to live in America. Why not just take both?? Once you learn one language and learn the tricks behind it... You can learn MANY languages easier.

Spanish is a very easy language to learn and its cool too! ( maybe because I'm fluent) little offensive about the taco burrito thing. But French is a great language too you should defiantly learn. Their is no reason for your parents not letting you learn what you want to. Just try to talk to them. if you live in the US then is better if you learn spanish mote convinient

I Speak and can write French very Fluently but believe me. If you are determined you will be able to understand and work hard or else you should take Spanish. French has many Exeptions, Accents and Rules. And is Very Complicated. EX: Les ''Si" Mange les "rais".
So if you Say:
Si J'Irais au depaneur.
Its wrong.
There are alot of Grammar issues and its constantly being improved and switched.
Its a very Difficult language but, Is very Beautiful. Some Poets choose to write in French because of the Variety in the Language. Good Luck.
Choose Well!
