My 10 year old son has a fever of 104.3 what should I do?

Hello??!! You do have a pediatrician, don't you? You have a child with that high of a fever and you bring it here instead of calling the doc? Parenting fail of the day (to say the least)...or another sick attempt at trolling.

You should definitely get your son to the emergency room. A temperature of 104.3 is high, and it could be a sign of an underlying infection that also need to be treated. I hope he gets well.

Especially if over the counter medication (Tylenol or Advil) is not helping to bring it down, then you need to take him to the ER immediately

If Tylenol isn't bringing it down, he needs to go to the ER ASAP!

Jeepers, that's high. Call the neareat ER for advice. In the meantime put ice packs on his head.

My little bro had the same thing for 3 days, his temp. ran 102 to 104 and only went down when given Ibuprofen but still it stayed in the 100s and kept shooting up again to 102 to 104 when the Ibuprofen wore off. My mom took him to the doctor and it turned out to be pneumonia and he had to take antibiotics for 5 days. You should take him to the doctor just to make sure he doesn't have the same thing.

Call an ambulance right now. Per longed temperatures like this can cause permanent brain damage. You wrote this TEN hours ago.
