All languages derived from Latin, but where did Latin derive from?
It had to have come from somewhere.
No, all languages don't derive from Latin. Just some European ones. Greek didn't, for a start. I believe Hungarian, Finnish, Russian etc are not derived from Latin, but I haven't checked. Latin derived, as all languages do, from the languages spoken before them.. I've no idea what they were, but somebody does.
it was made up by Latins i get what your saying but every thing has a starting pointsome things start from others and some are made up
It was derived from an earlier language, Etruscan, named after the group of people who lived in Italy before the Romans. The Etuscan language became extinct but got absorbed into Latin.
