I want the formulas of aluminium, barium, boron, calcium, helium, mercury, phosphorus, platinum, potassium, silicon & silver

These elements do not have a formula, they have a symbol. To help you with your homework, get the app for elements and the periodic table. I'm sorry, but I do not do homework for others..

Good Answer- If my students called these 'formulas' I'd mark them wrong!

Those are all basic elements, so there is no formula for them. If you want the abbreviations for their names, look at the periodic table (Wikipedia or so).

The aluminium chemical formula is Al while that of barium is Ba. The chemical formula for boron is B, calcium is Ca, helium is He and mercury is Hg. For phosphorous, the chemical formula is P, potassium is K, Silicon is Si and silver is Ag. Chemical formula is a way of expressing information about the proportions of atoms that constitute a particular chemical compound, using a single line of chemical element symbols, numbers, and sometimes also other symbols.
